DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

CAPTURING THE MOMENTS IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT INTO WORDS,

If you…..

Prioritize spending quality time with your guests and want to truly savor every moment on your special day

Prefer photos that reflect the true essence and emotions of your wedding day, not a staged presentation

Prefer a relaxed atmosphere, allow moments to unfold naturally

…… then you are in the right place

There is no truer joy than that reflected in unplanned laughter. There is no deeper love than that witnessed in sidelong glances. The most beautiful moments of your wedding are not performed. We consider it an honor to document it all.

Hello! We are Sunny and Nate

Coming from very diverse backgrounds, we found each other over a decade ago – and have been sharing memories and photographs ever since. Now we combine our unique skill sets to preserve moments for others…using both artistry and cultivated photojournalism to chronicle our clients’ weddings and elopements.

2. Quotes/ reviews from our “clients”: Examples that I like, taken from other photographers’ sites:

"There were so many moments I didn't realize existed. Smiles after toasts, mistakes on the dance floor, frosting on my sleeves...THIS is our wedding."

"You have to trust that the beauty of the day will shine through you and your guests. I've never had more fun exploring a wedding album!"

“When I saw what my smile looked like when I wasn't trying...I was shocked! Surely I'd just had a photogenic day? But then my partner said 'This is how I always see you...' and just like that, another unique memory was made.”

“People are not decorations. Sunny and Nate became part of our wedding backdrop and preserved moments

Joy is not a performance. Emotion is not tidy.

Occasions like your wedding are impossible to witness at all angles. In seeking out the candid, we will document what you would otherwise never see.

When the time comes to review your photos - you will experience the truest aspects of your day all over again.

4. What is it like working with us?

Examples:

Your wedding day is a celebration, not a performance. I’ll document the day, as it was and how it felt, without getting in the way. I want you to have the freedom to be yourself and experience the day to the fullest.

My belief is that my job as a wedding photographer is to observe, be fully present, and artfully document what unfolds around me. I believe that beautiful things are happening every moment of a wedding, and that there's tremendous value found in the in-between. I look for movement + light, personality + vulnerability, chaos + calm, subtle glances + joyful belly laughter. I look for signs of life and evidence of actual experiences. I want your photos to transport you back and make complete strangers feel like they were there.

The purpose is to document who was there, what really happened, and what it felt like to help you and your future selves remember what the day was all about.

There is no need to act differently or do anything special for me. No one will have to fake something “just for the picture” or redo moments. You won’t have to carve out 3 hours in your day for pictures and there is certainly no vision you’re supposed to fit into. You and all the people who share a part in your story do not need to change anything about yourselves or behave differently simply because a camera is present.

We can preserve your day
